Responding to today’s monthly visa statistics publication and the Minister for Migration and Citizenship, Seema Malhotra, Alp Mehmet, Migration Watch chairman said:
Ms Malhotra makes no mention of the fall in visas issued to the dependants of those coming for post-graduate studies or to work in the care sector and that this follows measures introduced by the Tories intended to achieve this. She also says nothing about how the government will reduce sky-high immigration. History tells us that no cap means no teeth. And no cap, ultimately means no control.
